Glitter + Mickey = Adorable Disney Fun!
For our upcoming trip to Disney World, I wanted make some Mom & Daughter matching shirts! We both love a little glitter in our lives, so why not create some glitter Mickey Mouse shirts?!
I found this awesome tutorial for a glitter Mickey shirt from Loving Here.com. I pretty much followed the tutorial and bought the recommended supplies. Here is a quick rundown of the steps for this project (for more in-depth pics and instructions please see the Loving Here site):
-Buy Materials: Glitter Bond, Glitter and Freezer Paper
-Print out a Mickey Head outline to use as a template
-Trace template onto freezer paper and cut out
-Iron the freezer paper onto the shirt as a temporary stencil
-Put glitter bond onto shirt and sprinkle glitter
*Note: I did have to do some touch ups on my black shirt because I did not get the glue on as evenly as I should have!
I am in love with these shirts, they turned out adorable- don't you think?
Oh! Also, while we were at JoAnn's Fabric we found iron on Mickey head letters on clearance! This is what I used to ad my daughters name to her shirt.
I think my daughter and I are ready for some sparkly, magical fun at Disney!
